We hope your Balch clothing becomes familiar through wear. The sweatshirt you pack first. The T-shirt that’s rarely far from the top of the drawer.

Follow its care instructions and keep enjoying it for as long as you can. When an eligible garment is no longer wearable, its materials can have another use.

Scan the QR code in the care label to find the return instructions for Teemill’s Remill programme. UK customers can get a Freepost code, and returns earn store credit.

The recovered material is reprocessed and respun to make new products.

A favourite T-shirt spends a lot of time against your skin. The material matters.

We use certified organic cotton across our core clothing range. Teemill sources its organic cotton from northern India, where monsoon rains fill reservoirs that supply almost all the water needed to grow it.

On the farms, methods such as planting complementary crops, using insect traps and applying organic manure help support biodiversity.

It’s still cotton, and cotton needs water and land to grow. Choosing organic is one part of taking care over where our clothing begins.

You’ll find the fabric composition on each product page, including where we use remanufactured cotton or other materials.

You find the design. Choose your colour. Pick your size. Then your garment is printed.

Teemill prints our designs onto garments after orders are placed. That means we don’t need to predict how many people will want a particular design in a particular colour and size, then print a batch and hope.

It’s a straightforward idea that avoids unsold stock of pre-printed designs.
